About
A calm presence with a design-forward eye.
Pacific Pearl Event Design grew from years spent understanding how people move through celebrations, what makes a space feel welcoming, and how thoughtful details can shift the entire mood of a day.
Bree O'Toole has worked in events and hospitality on the Central Coast for more than 14 years. She previously owned and operated The Narrative Loft in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone and spent over seven years as Director of Sales and Events at the Riviera Mansion. That experience shaped an approach that is both deeply personal and highly organized.
Clients often want the same two things at once: beauty that feels true to them, and the confidence that someone steady is holding the moving parts. Pacific Pearl was built to offer both. The process is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in trust, with design decisions that feel intentional rather than excessive.
This work has never been about putting on a performance. It's about creating a celebration that reflects the relationship at the center of it and giving clients the room to be fully present inside something meaningful.
Experience
Rooted in Santa Barbara, shaped by hospitality.
Bree's background includes owning and operating The Narrative Loft, leading events at the Riviera Mansion, and earning her degree from UCSB. Those milestones matter not as a résumé on display, but because they inform how she moves through a planning process: with local knowledge, strong vendor relationships, and a clear sense of how to create a celebration that feels held from beginning to end.
Philosophy
The Pacific Pearl difference
Pacific Pearl brings together hospitality instinct, design sensitivity, and local knowledge in a way that feels reassuring from the start. You aren't handed a generic formula. You're guided through a process that stays attentive to tone, flow, beauty, and the emotional texture of the day.
